Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman helps 'deceased' soldier's mother get pensionary benefits today news

The defence ministry on Monday approved special family pension and Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to Kamla Devi, who had recently approached the armed forces tribunal at Chandigarh to get the pension of her son rifleman Rinku Ram, who had fallen into a raging river while patrolling the border with China in Arunachal Pradesh in November 2009.
