The BJP on Tuesday hit out at the Congress for giving a ticket in upcoming Karnataka assembly polls to a lawyer who had represented fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi, and alleged that the tainted businessman enjoyed the "patronage" of Rahul Gandhi.
