Panel on Indian culture not an attempt to rewrite history, says government today news

The findings of a committee set up to conduct a "holistic study" of the evolution of 12,000 years of Indian culture are due to be placed in public soon in the midst of contentions — vehemently denied by the government — that it is intended to rewrite ancient Indian history and textbooks.
