Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu was full of praise for a reticent Manmohan Singh and said the former PM's "silence" did what the ruling BJP's "uproar" could not. A former BJP MP who had often targeted Singh over his reluctance to speak out on issues, also apologised to the former prime minister.
