Approached Chief Justices of HCs for appointments of more Dalit, tribal judges: Govt today news

The lower representation of members of the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Castes, minorities and women in the higher judiciary was raised in Parliament on Wednesday when the government said it has already approached the chief justices of high courts seeking their proportionate representation while sending proposals for appointments.
