Amateur trekkers, no guides: Why 10 died in TN forest fire today news

The death toll from Sunday’s savage forest fire climbed to 10 on Monday. Forest dept had already received alerts from the Forest Survey of India about a “thermal anomaly” near the spot where the blaze surrounded the trekkers. But, the forest department had not reacted with adequate speed to alerts.
